Siberia

Siberia is a variety of rocket (Indau) that stands out for its medium height and good foliage, making it a popular choice for both open ground and greenhouse conditions. The leaves have an oak-like shape, medium size, green color, and weak pubescence, while they are slightly divided, creating a characteristic lyre-like appearance.

The variety germinates quickly: seeds begin to grow at temperatures from +8 °C, and a rosette with small leaves is formed within 20‑25 days. The time to flowering is about 35 days, which allows for a harvest within a short period. Siberia is unpretentious to climatic conditions and has stable germination, lasting for 3‑4 years.

Greens yield reaches 1.4 kg/m² (or 0.9–1.2 t/ha under agrotechnical standards), making the variety profitable for both fresh markets and processing. The plant is rich in dietary fibers, alkaloids, flavonoids, vitamins C and B, as well as minerals - iodine, iron. Thanks to its mustard taste, rocket is suitable for salads as well as side dishes for meat and fish dishes, as well as for pasta, baking and appetizers.
