Nivea Madonna is a perennial garden flower resembling a daisy, but with a more vibrant and prolonged blooming period. Its inflorescences are located on tall, sturdy stems, while the petals are white and long, framing the golden-yellow center, creating a striking look in any composition.
The plant is easy to care for: it is almost immune to diseases and pests, so gardeners value its reliability. For planting in open ground or containers, it is recommended to use mineral fertilizer when preparing the soil and to plant the rhizomes with minimal burial – 2–3 cm from the surface level. The distance between bushes should be at least 30 cm to prevent rapid growth.
Nivea Madonna fits perfectly into various landscape solutions: stone slopes, rockeries, mixed borders, fantasy flower beds, and border areas. It can be planted in spring (April) as well as in autumn (August–September). After planting, the plant should be well watered, and then moderately throughout the season – about once a month, adding fertilizer to the water to maintain health and blooming.
