SANGLI (360 g/L glyphosate acid (isopropylamine salt)
Systemic herbicide with broad-spectrum (total) action for controlling unwanted weeds
ADVANTAGES OF THE PREPARATION
Unique systemic herbicide suppressing annual and perennial grassy and broadleaf weeds
Rapidly absorbed by plant leaves and green stems and begins to act within 4-6 hours after application
Highly effective against root and root-sprouting weeds (crabgrass, sow thistle, field bindweed, field bindweed and others), as it causes complete death of both above-ground and root parts of plants.
Rapidly breaks down in soil into natural components and does not have residual soil activity
Can be used as a base for tank-mixing with other herbicides to enhance effect on weeds
Non-phytotoxic and safe for subsequent crops in crop rotation
Safe for humans and the environment (when application guidelines are followed)
Non-toxic to bees, birds, fish, and soil organisms
MECHANISM OF ACTION
The active ingredient of the systemic herbicide penetrates actively growing plants through green leaves and stems. It is transported via the conducting system to growth points of the weed plant, including the root system. SANGLI blocks amino acid synthesis, leading to cessation of cell division, growth stoppage, and weed death.
Visible signs of damage appear within 1-2 weeks after treatment. Complete weed death occurs within 30 days after application (depending on weather conditions and weed species).
APPLICATION RECOMMENDATIONS
Herbicide is used to control actively growing annual and perennial grassy and broadleaf weeds in gardens, vineyards, potato, tomato, cabbage, sunflower fields (prior to planting), as well as in post-harvest autumn periods on fields intended for sowing cereal, technical, vegetable crops, perennial grasses for seed, and fallow lands. SANGLI can also be applied on non-agricultural lands (protection zones of power lines and clearings, gas and oil pipeline routes, embankments and right-of-way strips of railways and highways, airfields, and other industrial sites).
SANGLI is applied at rates of 2 to 8 L/ha depending on the type and condition of crops, weed infestation, and soil-climatic conditions. Considering that SANGLI is a systemic herbicide, the main condition for its effective action is active weed growth, warm, dry weather, and adequate soil moisture. The above-ground part of weeds should be at least 10-20 cm tall. A key condition for high efficiency is the absence of rainfall for 6 hours after application. Treatment is carried out after weed emergence, but no later than 1-3 days before planting or emergence of crop seedlings. Glyphosate is applied using ground tractor-mounted sprayers at a working solution rate of 100-200 L/ha.
In gardens and vineyards, herbicide is applied in late spring and summer using strip application in rows. Avoid contact of the working solution with leaves of fruit trees and grapevines.
