Systemic herbicide of broad-spectrum action for combating a wide range of annual and perennial weeds, as well as woody and shrub vegetation.
Formulation: aqueous solution, isopropylamine salt of glyphosate, 48%.
Packaging: 20-liter plastic cans
Application rate: 1.5–6 L/ha depending on weed species composition
Hazard class: IV. Approved for use in private plots.
Storage conditions: 5 years at temperatures from +15°C to +40°C.
Active ingredient characteristics:
Generic name — glyphosate
Chemical group — phosphonic acid derivatives
Mode of action — systemic
Product characteristics:
• Appearance — light green liquid with a mild amine odor. glyphosate
Mode of action:
The product blocks the synthesis of aromatic amino acids in vegetative plants. The systemic herbicide glyphosate, after contact with leaves and green stem parts, moves to the plant’s root system. Visual effect on most annual weeds appears within 2–4 days, on perennials — within 7–10 days, on woody and shrub vegetation — within 20–30 days, manifesting as gradual wilting of treated vegetative weed mass, accompanied by complete desiccation and necrosis of above-ground parts and death of underground plant parts.
Spectrum of activity:
Effective against annual and perennial grassy and broad-leaved weeds in a wide range of growth stages, as well as against woody and shrub vegetation.
Compatibility with other pesticides: the product may be applied in tank mixtures with pre-emergent herbicides and nitrogen fertilizers. Check compatibility before use.
General information:
Director is a systemic post-emergent herbicide of non-selective (broadcast) action. The product excels in controlling a wide spectrum of both annual and perennial grassy and broad-leaved weeds. Due to the presence of surfactant.
Director penetrates the plant more quickly and its efficacy is less dependent on weather conditions, which is an additional advantage. After penetration through the leaf surface, Director moves to the plant’s root system and causes its death.
The product is used in weed control systems for various crops, particularly in minimal tillage technology, as well as in post-emergent applications for inter-row treatments of fruit trees and vineyards. It may also be used as a desiccant.
The product may be applied in various tank mixtures with pre- and post-emergent herbicides using boom and hand sprayers.
Application rate — 1.5–2.5 L. Efficacy of the product has been confirmed.
