Description Selenit
Post-emergence systemic herbicide against annual and perennial grass weeds in sugar beet crops.

Active ingredient. Clethodim, 120 g/l.
Formulation. Emulsion concentrate.
Chemical group. Cyclohexanones.
Compatibility. Selenit can be used in tank mixtures with other pesticides.
In each case, it is advisable to perform a compatibility test.

Mode of action. Systemic herbicide. The product is rapidly absorbed through the leaves and stems, moving to growth points. It slows down lipid (fatty acid) synthesis, causing plant growth to stop and growth points of weeds to die.
Spectrum of action. The product controls more than 40 species of annual and perennial grass weeds. Among them are common cocklebur, common chickweed, wild oats (brome), common foxtail, cylindrical egyptian grass, bristly crabgrass, sterile wheatgrass, small goosegrass, mouse barley, perennial darnel, Indian eleocharis, bristly foxtail, cultivated grass weeds, creeping thistle, palmate hogweed, various species of crabgrass, mouse-ear chickweed, and chickweed.

Maximum number of applications - 1. Pre-harvest interval is not established.
Working solution dosage - 200 — 300 l/ha. The product is applied by ground spraying. Regardless of crop growth stage, the highest efficiency against perennial grass weeds is achieved when their height is 10 — 15 cm, and for annuals — when they have 2 — 6 leaves.

Herbicide effectiveness depends on proper application and favorable weather conditions. Essential requirement is complete coverage of the area and thorough wetting of plants during application. Rain within 1 hour after application does not affect the product's effectiveness.

Toxicity. WHO classification: Class III (low toxicity). Time for personnel to return to treated areas for mechanized work — 3 days; for manual work — not recommended.

• Exhibits high herbicidal effectiveness against annual and perennial grass weeds;
• can be applied to sugar beet crops regardless of crop growth stage;
• thanks to its optimal formulation, the active ingredient remains securely on plant surfaces and is well absorbed by weed leaves;
• systemic action and unique surfactants ensure destruction not only of above-ground parts but also of weed root systems;
• long-lasting protective effect.

Packaging. 5 L.
