Post-emergence herbicide effective for protecting corn crops from grassy and broadleaf, annual and perennial weeds. PROMETHEUS® can be used as an additional tool after soil herbicides have been applied, when results were not satisfactory, or can replace pre-emergence and pre-planting corn treatments. The active ingredients of PROMETHEUS® herbicide belong to the sulfonilurea class, characterized by low application rates and broad spectrum of action. Thanks to the improved surfactant formula (SURFACANT) SAIYO®, the herbicide is rapidly absorbed by weed leaves and translocated to their roots and growing points. It stops cell division at the growing points and root tips of sensitive weeds, thereby halting their growth within a few hours after treatment. Less sensitive weeds and plants at later growth stages may not die, but their growth will be halted and they will no longer compete with the crop for nutrients and water. Nicosulfuron stops cell division by inhibiting the synthesis of acetolactate synthase enzyme, responsible for biosynthesis of essential amino acids. Triflusulfuron-methyl acts on the enzyme system, thereby stopping cell division.

Grass weeds: creeping bentgrass, mouse-tail grass, crabgrass, foxtail (common foxtail), multiflowered chickweed, mouse-ear (varieties), gumweed, sorghum allepian.
Broadleaf weeds: ragweed, common hawksbeard, common ragwort, annual sunflower, triple-flowered hibiscus, wild poppy, common horseradish (varieties), common horseradish, Veronica (varieties), violet (varieties), palmate (varieties), chickweed (varieties), daisy (varieties), intermediate starwort, field mustard, wild radish, common sorrel, lettuce (varieties), common ragwort, plantain (varieties), wild mustard, white clover, hybrid clover, medicinal valerian, watercress (varieties), rough dock (varieties), field wormwood, field wheatgrass, nettle (varieties).
NOTES:
The working solution dosage is 100-300 L/ha. When using self-propelled sprayers "Timur" manufactured by LLC "Prezens", it can be reduced to 20 L/ha.
The time frame for conducting mechanized work — 3 days.
SPECIAL APPLICATION TECHNIQUE:
PROMETHEUS® must be applied only with the surfactant SAIYO® at a rate of 0.2 L/ha. Working solution dosage 20-400 L/ha. The most effective period for using the herbicide PROMETHEUS® — the phase of intensive weed and corn growth. Optimal crop development phase — 2-5 leaves, annual weeds — 4-5 leaves, rootstock weeds — rosette phase, other perennial weeds — 10-15 cm height. The most favorable weather for application — warm, with air temperature +15...25°C, under conditions of adequate soil moisture. Application is not recommended under unfavorable conditions (cold or hot weather, excessive soil moisture, and during periods when weeds are in a suppressed state). Avoid inter-row treatments 1 week before herbicide application! Rain 3-4 hours after application of PROMETHEUS® herbicide does not affect its efficacy. Growth of sensitive weeds stops almost immediately after treatment, visible symptoms (chlorosis, death of growth points, necrosis) appear on the 2nd-3rd day after application. Depending on the weed growth stage at the time of application, death occurs over a period of 10-20 days. Avoid inter-row treatments for 1 week after herbicide application!
Apply the herbicide PROMETHEUS® only once per season.
