Post-emergence systemic herbicide for the destruction of annual,
perennial grassy and some broadleaf weeds on corn crops.
Active ingredient. Nicosulfuron, 45 g/l.
Formulation. Concentrate suspension.
Chemical group. Sulfonylurea derivative.
Compatibility. The product can be used alone or in tank mixtures with some herbicides. Compatibility must be checked in each specific case. Do not use with 2,4-D group herbicides.
Mode of action. Systemic herbicide. Nicosulfuron stops cell division by blocking processes responsible for the biosynthesis of essential amino acids. Treated weeds quickly stop growing and compete with the crop.
Spectrum of activity. Sensitive weeds: common oats, mustard (species), goosegrass, starwort, barnyard grass, crabgrass (species), curly dock (species), creeping foxtail, purslane, proso millet (species), wild radish, field chicory, chamomile (species), white chickweed, common chickweed. Moderately sensitive: ragweed (species), curly mustard, chickweed (species). Low sensitivity: sprawling mustard, purple nettle, field sorrel, garden docks, field bindweed, marsh cinquefoil, annual cinquefoil, common spurge.
Maximum number of applications — 1. Pre-harvest interval is not established.
Working solution dosage — 200 — 300 l/ha. Application should be conducted during intensive weed and crop growth. Apply MILADAR in the 4 — 10 leaf stage of corn, when weeds are covered by the crop. Do not conduct inter-row soil treatment within 7 days before or after MILADAR application. The protective period of the herbicide is 30 — 45 days.
Ideal conditions for applying MILADAR — warm weather (from +15 to +25 °C) with optimal soil and air humidity. NOT recommended for application under unfavorable
conditions (cold or hot weather, excessive moisture, and when weeds are suppressed). Avoid inter-row soil treatment 1 week before application. Rainfall within 3 — 4 hours after herbicide application does not affect its efficacy.
Toxicity. WHO classification: Class III (Low toxicity). Mechanical and manual work is not recommended.
• Systemic, highly effective herbicide for controlling grassy and broadleaf weeds on corn crops;
• due to absorption through leaves and stems, it belongs to the category of “immediate”-acting herbicides;
• atmospheric precipitation within 4 hours does not affect the herbicide's efficacy;
• does not require additional adhesives or other active additives;
• wide “technological window” for application: from 4 to 10 crop leaves;
• complete absence of toxic effect on subsequent crops in crop rotation;
• low environmental toxicity.
Packaging. 5 L.
