Description OGNIVO
OGNIVO is a variety of Japanese quince (Chaenomeles) distinguished by bright orange-red flowers and low growth without thorns. The plant reaches a height of 50 to 80 cm, has inclined arc-shaped branches and a dense crown, making it ideal for planting in small gardens, flower beds, or as a decorative element in landscape design.

Flowering occurs in late April – early May, when there are still no leaves on the branches. Flowers are large (about 4 cm) and arranged chaotically, creating the effect of a 'flock of birds'. The flowering period lasts almost a month, giving the garden a bright festive appearance.

OGNIVO fruits are yellow-green, medium in size (3–5 cm), with smooth or slightly ribbed surface. They ripen in mid-October and have juicy flesh resembling the taste of a pineapple. The fruits are edible and can be used as fresh fruit, as well as for making compotes, jams, and desserts.
