Honeysuckle «Michurinskoe Chudo» – is a low-growing ornamental fruit bush, 70-100 cm high, thornless, with a dense, slightly arching crown. Leaves are bright green, glossy, located on dense arching shoots, giving the plant an elegant look.
Flowering begins at the end of April – beginning of May and lasts for almost a month. Flowers are cream-apricot shade, double-flowered with 6-7 petals, round shape and diameter of about 3.5-4 cm. Fruits are of medium size, yellow-green, pear-shaped, spotless, have a ribbed surface. They are edible and resemble pineapple in taste.
The variety is characterized by high resistance to diseases and pests, good drought resistance and medium heat tolerance. It withstands winter frosts well, which makes it popular in horticulture due to its decorative properties and adaptation to temperate climate.
