Lozovsky Sharovidnyy

The 'Lозovsky Sharovidnyy' hazelnut variety is a vigorous, spreading bush with a dense crown, reaching up to 5 meters in height. This variety has been officially registered and included in the State Register of Ukraine, confirming its adaptation to local climatic conditions. The nuts ripen at medium maturity, allowing effective harvest planning. The nut shell may be equal to or slightly longer than the nut itself, may be whole or split on one side and has a serrated edge.

The nuts of the 'Lозovsky Sharovidnyy' variety are nearly spherical, about 2 cm long, with a golden-yellow color and dark elongated stripes. The mass of a single nut ranges from 2.1 to 2.5 grams, with 100 nuts weighing approximately 210 grams. Kernel yield reaches 50%, which is a good indicator for this variety. The fat content of the nuts is 68%, and protein content is 17%, making them nutritious and health-beneficial.

The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness and yields up to 25 centners per hectare. It is versatile in use and easily propagated by root suckers, vertical layering, and green cuttings. To increase yield, pollinators such as forest hazelnut and varieties 'Shedevr' and 'Dolynsky' are recommended. All these characteristics make 'Lозovsky Sharovidnyy' an attractive choice for gardeners and farmers seeking a high-quality and stable hazelnut harvest.
