Tall, dense bush. Nuts are large, sweet, with very thin shells (can be crushed with fingers), ripen in the 2nd-3rd decade of September. Early, very productive. A major advantage is self-pollination. However, with a pollinator (Galle), yields are higher. Chestnut is a good pollinator for many other varieties.
