Description ADJEM MISKET
Adjem Misaket is a Crimean variety of late-ripening grapes, which begins to ripen at the end of September. The bushes are of medium height with good shoot maturation; the leaves are of medium size, strongly lobed with five or seven lobes, and have weak web-like pubescence on the underside. The clusters are small or medium-sized, cylinder-conical or cylindrical, and loose. The berries are oval, yellowish-green, acquiring a pinkish hue when overripe, and are covered with a weak waxy bloom. The berry skin is thick and astringent, while the flesh is juicy with a light muscat aroma. Adjem Misaket is characterized by medium yield and good resistance to fungal diseases such as downy mildew, gray mold, and powdery mildew. The juice sugar content is about 21-22 g per 100 cm³, acidity is from 3 to 5.2 g/dm³, which ensures a harmonious taste and aroma. The juice is colorless, and the berries contain small seeds. The variety is distinguished by its winter hardiness, withstanding temperatures down to -18°C. This grape is used both for fresh consumption and for producing table and dessert wines. Wines made from Adjem Misaket have a delicate floral-honey aroma with fruity notes, a light straw color with a greenish tint, and a harmonious, full-bodied taste. Due to its characteristics and qualities, the variety is popular among winemakers and fresh grape lovers.
