Early Grobovskiy 11 is an early-maturing vegetable pea (Pisum sativum L.) variety intended for commercial production and cultivation in various climatic zones. The variety is characterized by a short, simple stem 35-40 cm long with short internodes and 12-13 nodes per plant. Leaves are of the common type, light green or yellowish-green in color, and elongated-oval in shape. Flowers are white, of medium size, and are arranged singly on the peduncle. Pods are straight or slightly curved, 8-10 cm long and 1.2-1.4 cm wide, with a pointed tip and dark green color at the stage of technical maturity. Each pod contains 6-8 seeds of yellow-green color, which fade to yellow over time. The period from mass emergence to flowering is 35-40 days, to technical maturity is 54-63 days, and to full maturity is 66-73 days. Pod ripening occurs simultaneously, which facilitates harvest collection. The variety belongs to shelling and snap types, which makes it convenient for canning and fresh consumption. The taste qualities of green peas are evaluated as good and excellent, which increases their attractiveness for consumers. Early Grobovskiy 11 demonstrates high commercial yield: from 9.8 to 22.0 tons of pods per hectare at the stage of technical maturity and from 4.5 to 9.2 tons of green peas. However, the variety is not resistant to ascochyta blight, which requires attention during cultivation. It is recommended for use in various regions, including the Northern, Northwestern, Central, Volga-Vyatka, and Middle Volga. Thanks to its characteristics and versatility, the variety is widely used in vegetable farming to produce quality products.
