Description Mucio
Mucio Vegetable Pea — a mid-season Dutch selection variety from Syngenta Seeds, maturing in 65–67 days. The plant is medium-height, reaching up to 65 cm, with blue-green leaves covered in a slight waxy coating. Each plant produces 14 to 16 pods, up to 10 cm long, each containing 8–9 uniform dark green medium-sized seeds. The variety is characterized by uniform ripening and stable yield, reaching 3.5 to 6.5 tons per hectare.

Mucio exhibits high resistance to root rot, fusarium, and powdery mildew, and tolerates drought and high solar activity, making it an optimal choice for cultivation in arid regions. The plant demonstrates heat tolerance and requires minimal care, although for maximum yield, it is recommended to grow it on fertile soils rich in organic matter, with regular watering and systematic harvesting every 3–4 days.

Mucio Pea is intended for cultivation in open ground and is widely used fresh, as well as for preparing various dishes, canning, and freezing. Its high green pea yield per pod (up to 56%) and excellent taste make this variety popular for both home use and industrial processing. The cultivation technology is simple and accessible, enabling successful use of specialized harvesting equipment.
