The Areal pea variety is spring and late-maturing, with a vegetative period from 90 to 110 days. This variety belongs to the grain-cutting direction, which allows efficient use of it both for seed production and for green mass. Areal seeds have a yellowish-white color, round shape, smooth surface, and medium size, and they are equipped with a raphe.
One of the key features of the variety is the high protein content in the grain, reaching 24–26%, which makes it valuable for feed and food purposes. The variety differs in good seed productivity and high yield of green mass, which ensures a stable and quality harvest.
The Areal pea is intended for cultivation for grain and green mass, especially in the conditions of the North Caucasus region. Its adaptation to local climatic conditions allows successful cultivation of this variety, ensuring effective use of land and obtaining a high-quality product.
