AGROINTEL is a medium-maturing pea variety intended for grain (food) use. The plants are leafless, ranging in height from 56 to 92 cm, with well-developed tendrils and 18-19 internodes. The vegetation period is 65 to 86 days, allowing the variety to be grown in various climatic conditions. Seeds weigh between 168 and 250 g per 1000 grains; they are tendril-shaped or spherical with yellow cotyledons. The variety is distinguished by high resistance to lodging and pod shattering, which facilitates harvesting and reduces losses during storage. AGROINTEL features high yield potential, reaching up to 5.4 t/ha in production conditions, with an average yield of approximately 3.65 t/ha in trials, exceeding that of standard varieties. Protein content in the grain varies from 22.6% to 24.7%, making it valuable for food and fodder use. The variety is drought-resistant and withstands spring frosts down to -5°C, expanding its cultivation possibilities in various regions, including the Volga-Vyatka, Central Black Earth, Ural, West Siberia, and East Siberia regions. For successful cultivation, early sowing is recommended with a seeding rate of 120-120 plants per square meter and a sowing depth of 4-6 cm, increased to 6-8 cm in case of moisture deficit. Application of mineral fertilizers with an NPK complex (15:15:15) promotes increased yield, while nitrogen dosage should not exceed 35 kg/ha. For plant protection, systemic seed dressings and comprehensive chemical protection agents are used against pests and diseases such as ascochitis, root rots, fusarium, rust, and pea aphid. Harvesting is primarily conducted by direct combine harvesting at 16-18% grain moisture using gentle equipment operating modes, ensuring product quality preservation.
