Description Pidpecherecka
White mustard "Pidpecherecka" is an intensive type variety characterized by high resistance to lodging, shattering, and fungal diseases, as well as excellent resistance to beet nematode. Plants reach a height of up to 110 cm; the bush is half-closed; lower leaves have a lyre-shaped incision, while upper ones are elongated-linear and covered with stiff hairs. Flowers are arranged in catkin-like inflorescences with yellow flowers, and the pod is warty and pubescent without anthocyanin pigmentation.

The variety ensures a seed yield of 22–24 c/ha and green mass yield in main crops of 310–340 c/ha (250–280 c/ha – in post-acid and post-harvest crops). Seeds are round, yellowish in color, with a 1000-seed mass of 6.7–7.2 g. Internal composition: oil content 28–30%, protein 30–32%. Low levels of erucic acid (up to 0.1%) and glucosinolates make the product suitable for wide application in the food industry.

The vegetation period is 95–110 days. Seeds can be used as feed and cover crops until mid-August if moisture is present. The variety responds well to the application of increased doses of organic and mineral fertilizers and is a good honey plant with a flowering period of 23–25 days.
