Gladiolus Red Ginger

Striking Classic for Your Garden

The "Red Ginger" gladiolus is the choice for those seeking architectural expression rather than just vivid color. Unlike many modern hybrids with loose blooms, this variety features a dense, sturdy spike with deep red petals that maintain their intense hue even under direct scorching sun.

Key Advantages

• High Ornamental Value: The perfect geometry of each bloom makes this variety a florist's favorite. Bouquets of "Red Ginger" can last up to two weeks in a vase without losing the freshness of the lower buds.
• Adaptability: Developed in Ukraine, this variety is naturally resistant to sudden temperature fluctuations and common bulb diseases prevalent in our climate.
• Practicality: In the southern regions of Ukraine, the bulbs can overwinter in the ground, significantly simplifying maintenance for private garden owners.

It is important to note that due to the massive flower spike, the variety requires quality support. In strong winds, the stem may bend without staking. This is not a weakness, but a consequence of the "heaviness" of the bloom that makes it so highly valued in professional floristry.

Who is this variety for? It is optimal for professional growers producing cut flowers and for landscape designers looking for a bold color statement in mixed borders. "Red Ginger" turns any flower bed into a centerpiece without demanding specific or complicated growing conditions.
