Gladiolus Souvenir

Pastel Aesthetics for Your Garden

The 'Suvenir' gladiolus is a classic of Ukrainian selection, prized for its unique interplay of colors. Unlike many large-flowered hybrids, this variety relies not on aggressive brightness, but on a subtle gradient: the petals transition smoothly from soft pink to creamy yellow, creating an effect of internal luminosity.

Why Choose 'Suvenir'?

• Balanced Architecture: Flower spikes reaching 100–120 cm maintain their vertical integrity even in strong winds, eliminating the need for heavy supports.
• Perfect for Cutting: Due to the tight arrangement of buds and their gradual opening, the inflorescence retains its freshness in a vase for an extended period, making it ideal for elegant floral arrangements.
• Prolonged Bloom: This variety is noted for an extended flowering period, allowing you to enjoy your flowerbed for 1–2 weeks longer compared to standard solid-colored gladioli.

Care and Application Tips

'Suvenir' performs best in sunny, sheltered locations with light, well-drained soil. Its key strength is high ornamental value, making it an excellent focal point for formal flowerbeds. However, it is crucial to maintain consistent watering during the bud formation phase. Insufficient moisture can lead to the fading of the creamy-yellow intensity.

This variety is an excellent choice for those who prefer an elegant palette in landscape design and value the reliability of proven Ukrainian varieties adapted to local climatic conditions.
