The gladiolus «Drama» (breeding code 453 RS) is a prominent example of modern Ukrainian selection, gaining recognition for its remarkable variability. In the world of ornamental floriculture, this variety is valued for its consistency and ability to turn any landscape into a visual focal point. The 453 classification indicates a medium-sized flower (11.5 to 14 cm) with characteristic ruffling, making «Drama» instantly recognizable among professional growers.

Decorative Potential and Utility

The breeding of this hybrid was aimed at achieving maximum decorative appeal in the temperate climate of Ukraine. The variety excels at a dual purpose: it is indispensable for professional cut flower production due to its dense inflorescence structure that remains fresh in a vase, while simultaneously serving as a powerful tool for landscaping flower beds and borders.

• Color Range: The variety exhibits a rich spectrum of shades — from delicate pastel pinks and whites to vibrant reds, deep burgundies, oranges, and rich purples.
• Market Reputation: The steady demand for «Drama» is driven by the combination of high aesthetics and low maintenance. It is the choice for those seeking a balance between visual perfection and plant resilience against environmental stressors.

Utilizing this variety allows for the creation of striking, high-contrast floral arrangements. Thanks to its tall, sturdy stem, the plant maintains a vertical posture even in windy conditions without the need for complex support. «Drama» is rightfully considered one of the most commercially successful varieties adapted to local soil and climatic conditions.
