Gladiolus London is a high-quality Dutch variety of ruffled gladiolus with large and striking flowers. Its petals have a soft pale yellow hue, which is beautifully highlighted by bright carmine strokes on the three lower petals near the center of the flower. The central part of the flower is rich pink, and the petal edges are heavily ruffled, giving the flower special elegance and decorative appeal. The flower size reaches 12-15 cm, and up to 7-8 buds open simultaneously on one plant; up to 25 flowers can appear per season.
The plant reaches a height of 100-120 cm, forming powerful spike-like inflorescences up to 60 cm long. Supports are recommended to maintain the tall flower stem. Gladiolus bulbs have a size of 10/12 and are planted in the ground in May, when the threat of frost has passed and the soil temperature has stably reached +10 °C. With proper care, the first buds appear just one month after planting.
Gladiolus London is known for its unpretentiousness and disease resistance, making it an excellent choice for decorating flower beds, borders, and any floral arrangements. Blooming lasts from July to September, allowing you to long enjoy the bright and elegant flowers of this variety.
