Gladiolus variety Purple Grand Pavarotti is a tall perennial herbaceous plant, usually grown as an annual. It has wide, tall, green leaves, and a strong, straight flowering stem reaching about 110 cm in height. The inflorescence consists of a long, two-row spike of medium density, containing 22 to 28 large flowers, of which 12-15 bloom simultaneously. The inflorescence height is approximately 60 cm, giving the plant an impressive and expressive look.
The gladiolus flowers have an open form and a rich lilac-purple color with a more intense shade in the center, which does not fade in the sun. The perianth segments are elliptical and slightly pleated, adding elegance and decorative appeal to the flowers. Blooming occurs on average and lasts from 12 to 16 days, allowing one to enjoy the bright colors for quite a long time.
The variety is versatile in application and suitable for cultivation in various regions. The bulbs are size 10\/12 and are sold individually per package. Purple Grand Pavarotti was bred and patented by Andrey Nikolaevich Gromov and included in the Russian State Register of Plant Varieties in 2002, confirming its quality and stability.
