Ferro pumpkin is an early and high-yielding vegetable with excellent market qualities. The fruits are flattened, slightly segmented, weighing from 4 to 7 kilograms. Their light-gray skin contrasts with the orange, thick, and sweet flesh, which is juicy and crisp. Thanks to these characteristics, Ferro pumpkin has excellent culinary properties and is well-suited for transport and long-term storage.

A distinctive feature of this variety is its high resistance to diseases such as fusarium, verticillium, and phytophthora, significantly enhancing crop reliability. To improve resistance and enhance growth strength, the Ferro F1 rootstock is used, which also contributes to increasing yield potential. The rootstock seeds undergo special pre-sowing treatment — priming — that activates biological processes, requiring special storage conditions at 15°C and relative humidity of 30%. Under these conditions, the seeds retain their properties for no more than six months, so it is recommended to purchase them only for the upcoming season.
