Description Emerald
Festulolium «Emerald» is a perennial hybrid obtained by crossing oat grass and rye grass. The variety is distinguished by its bright green leaf color and high growth rate, making it ideal for quickly forming durable green cover on slopes, road shoulders, and residential areas.

The fodder properties of the plant are highly valued in agriculture: protein content reaches 15%, and fiber content – 27%. Thanks to its powerful root system, «Emerald» maintains productivity even after five years of use, with plant preservation rates ranging from 98% to 100%. The plant is resistant to low temperatures and drought, and is not prone to seed shedding, ensuring stable development throughout the season.

The variety is characterized by a high degree of bushiness: during the second year, it can form from six to ninety shoots, and in the third year – from thirty-one to one hundred sixty-eight. This ensures a dense and even grass canopy after mowing, as well as excellent resistance to trampling. Thanks to these properties, festulolium «Emerald» is widely used both as a fodder crop for livestock and in greening projects where fast and reliable coverage is required.
