Feed Beet YUMBO

Belgian Breeding for High Performance

The «Jumbo» hybrid from the Belgian company Sesvanderhave Nv/Sa is the result of many years of European breeding efforts aimed at optimizing the fodder base in livestock farming. In the context of modern agribusiness, the selection of fodder beet seeds determines the profitability of an entire sector, and this model confidently occupies a niche of high-performance solutions for industrial processing.

Agronomic Potential and Protection

The main strength of this hybrid is its pronounced resistance to key pathogens that limit yield. Rhizomania and Cercospora, diseases capable of destroying up to 50% of field potential, have almost no effect on the development of «Jumbo». This makes the hybrid a reliable choice for farms operating in areas with high infection pressure.

• Selection Background: The Sesvanderhave development combines genetic lines selected in research centers across France, New Zealand, and Hungary. This multi-regional approach ensures adaptability to various soil types and climatic conditions.
• Application: The primary focus is on processing. The dense structure of the root crop and high dry matter digestibility make it an optimal raw material for producing fodder with high nutritional value.

«Jumbo» is the choice for agronomists who prioritize predictable results. The stability of this hybrid is confirmed not only by laboratory tests but also by years of practice in professional agricultural holdings focused on maximizing yields per hectare.
