HOSTIN

Festulolum HOSTIN is a hybrid variety created by crossing ryegrass and orchardgrass, combining the best properties of both parent plants. It is characterized by rapid maturity, good rooting, and high productivity, making it an ideal choice for pastures, hay and silage production, as well as landscape design.

One of the key features of HOSTIN is high stress tolerance. The plant grows successfully in a wide range of climatic conditions – from early spring to late autumn, withstands various stress factors and maintains high feed quality. Thanks to drought and frost resistance, as well as the ability to recover quickly after mowing, HOSTIN ensures a stable yield for 5–7 years.

The yield of this variety reaches approximately 500 centners per hectare, while sugar content remains high, which increases the energy value of the product. The plant quickly forms a dense green mass and can be used as a monoculture or in mixtures with other grasses (pasture ryegrass, orchardgrass-type festulolum, red clover). This makes HOSTIN a universal solution for creating high-quality silage in the first and second year of cultivation.
