SHURAVI is a variety of perennial sainfoin (Onobrychis Mill.), known for its resistance to various diseases and high yields.
The plant reaches medium height and has a semi-erect bush at the beginning of flowering. The leaves are bright green, while the central leaflets have medium length and width. The stem is long with an inflorescence located at approximately one-third of the total length. The inflorescence is elongated-cylindrical with loose density, ensuring good ventilation.
The variety is characterized by high protein and mineral content, as well as nitrogen fixation ability thanks to symbiosis with bacteria. This makes it a valuable cover crop for improving soil fertility and simultaneously a source of nutrients for animals. Flowering time is medium, allowing the use of the plant in various climatic conditions.
Green mass yield reaches 338 kg/ha, and seeds – about 11 kg/ha. The variety is also valued as a decorative element due to its beautiful inflorescence and stability under adverse conditions.
