КСЕРА is a variety of green bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.), characterized by late maturity with a period from germination to the beginning of technical maturity of 55-70 days. The plant is bush-type, about 45 cm high, with dark green leaves and medium-sized white flowers. Pods are slightly curved, round in cross-section, without a parchment layer and fibers, light green in color at technical maturity, 14-15 cm long and 0.8-1.0 cm wide. The variety is resistant to common bean mosaic virus and anthracnose, ensuring crop stability and high commercial value of the product. КСЕРА is suitable for mechanized harvesting, which facilitates crop collection.
This variety is distinguished by high yield — up to 2-2.5 kg from one square meter, as well as unpretentiousness in cultivation and stable fruiting. Green beans form on low-growing bushes, are 13-15 cm long and about 13 mm in diameter. The white grain has excellent taste qualities, making КСЕРА beans in demand for both home use and canning.
In cookery, КСЕРА beans are versatile: they are used both fresh and for preparing various canned goods. The crop is harvested at the milky maturity stage to avoid hardness of fruits and preserve their tender taste and texture. Due to its characteristics and disease resistance, the КСЕРА variety is an excellent choice for growing in various regions, including southern areas of Russia.
