STAR GAZER

Star Gazer is a hybrid eggplant of medium-early maturity, intended for cultivation both in open and protected ground. The plant has a vase-shaped form, a height of about 60-70 cm, with large oval-tipped leaves and weak pubescence. The stem has weak anthocyanin pigmentation, and the calyx of the fruits lacks thorns or they are encountered very rarely, which facilitates harvest.

Star Gazer fruits are cylindrical in shape with a rounded tip, 16 to 27 cm long and weighing about 274-300 g. Their surface is smooth and highly glossy, colored dark purple. The flesh is white, dense, and without bitterness, which makes this eggplant particularly attractive for home cooking and canning. The taste of the fruits is excellent; when stuffed, they resemble fried mushrooms.

The hybrid is characterized by high fruit setting even with insufficient solar illumination, high yield and commercial productivity up to 7.7 kg per square meter with a commercial output of about 95%. Thanks to good transportability and universal purpose, Star Gazer is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions and is an excellent choice for gardeners and farmers.
