Wild cabbage Reflex F1

Consistent Yield for Late Season

Working with late-maturing cabbage from Bejo has proven that «Reflex F1» is the choice for growers prioritizing long-term storage and reliability. Throughout a 110–120 day growing cycle, the plant develops a dense, heavy head that holds up well in the field without cracking, even when moisture levels fluctuate significantly.

Field Performance and Management

• Disease Resistance: The hybrid shows high tolerance to fusarium and thrips, which significantly lowers the need for intensive fungicide applications toward the end of the season.
• Production Efficiency: The foliage is vigorous enough to shade out weeds during the early growth stages but manageable enough to avoid labor-intensive pruning.
• Market Quality: The deep dark-green color persists until harvest, ensuring the cabbage retains its fresh appearance on the shelf, even after several months of cold storage.

In practice, Reflex F1 requires the standard nutrition program typical for late-season Bejo varieties. We recommend focusing on potassium applications during the head-filling stage; this ensures structural density and that specific "market crunch" that retailers look for. Under standard planting densities, the crop shows excellent uniformity, making mechanical harvesting straightforward, as the heads reach maturity simultaneously with minimal need for manual sorting.
