NANUK

The NANUK eggplant variety is an early variety with a period from seedling planting to technical maturity of 60-70 days. Plants are compact, with a height of 45-60 cm, featuring simultaneous branching and compact fruit placement in the lower part of the bush. Fruits are cylindrical in shape, 15-18 cm long and 3-6 cm in diameter, weighing 150-200 g. The fruit skin is smooth and glossy, of a rich dark violet color. The flesh is light, tender, and dense at the same time, with excellent taste qualities and no bitterness.

For growing the NANUK eggplant, it is recommended to use seedlings sown from the end of February to mid-March. Seedlings are transplanted into open ground at an age of 60-70 days, when the plant has 5-7 true leaves. The optimal planting scheme is 50-60 on 25-30 cm or 90+50 on 25-35 cm. It is important to maintain soil moisture at a level of no less than 75% during the period from planting to fruit setting, as well as to provide quality inter-row treatment for better soil warming, considering the eggplant's heightened requirements for heat.

Regular fruit harvesting every 7-8 days contributes to extending the vegetative period and increasing the yield. The NANUK variety yield reaches 60-70 tons per hectare. Due to its characteristics, this eggplant variety is suitable for obtaining a high-quality crop with excellent taste qualities and commercial appearance.
