The Octavia F1 eggplant is an early-maturing hybrid developed by French breeders from the company Clause. The vegetative period is 65-70 days, allowing for a quick harvest. The plant is compact, with short internodes and even fruit set, contributing to high productivity. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses or under plastic coverings, demonstrating resistance to various climatic conditions and stresses, including temperature and soil moisture fluctuations. The fruits of the Octavia eggplant have a classic cylindrical shape with a glossy, dark purple skin. Fruit length varies from 19 to 21 cm, diameter around 7-8 cm, and weight reaches 250-300 grams. The flesh is light cream or white, dense and firm, without bitterness, making this hybrid especially attractive to consumers. The plant’s peduncle and leaves are round in shape, with small spines on the leaves. Flowering continues from June until frost, ensuring a long fruiting period.
