Eggplant Lilac Dawn

Stable performance for open-field farming

When selecting seeds for market-oriented production, predictability is key. "Lilovyi Ranok" (Purple Morning) from VNIS has proven itself as a reliable cultivar for open-field conditions. It is a no-nonsense variety that performs consistently without requiring complex, labor-intensive agro-technical protocols.

Vegetation and fruit characteristics

With a maturation cycle of 80–90 days, it allows for precise harvest scheduling. A notable feature of this variety is its structural plasticity. Depending on soil nutrients and moisture levels, the plant produces fruits ranging from classic pear shapes to rounded or cylindrical ones. This flexibility is a significant advantage when catering to diverse market demands.

• Color: Deep, glossy dark purple that retains its appeal after harvest.
• Adaptability: Shows great resilience to common temperature fluctuations in the open field.
• Efficiency: Compact plant habit makes routine maintenance and harvesting straightforward, minimizing labor costs.

For growers, "Lilovyi Ranok" represents a balance between growth vigor and yield stability. The fruit flesh is free from bitterness, and the skin is sufficiently firm to withstand transport to market without losing marketability. Experience shows that this variety responds well to standard feeding programs, directing energy efficiently into fruit set rather than excessive vegetative growth. It is a practical choice for those who need a reliable, high-performing result.
