Consistency and Quality: Why Professionals Choose Bejo's 'Goodman'

Cauliflower 'Goodman' from the Dutch breeding company Bejo is the choice for farmers who refuse to compromise between shelf appeal and disease resistance. In the mid-early hybrid segment (70-80 days from transplanting), this variety stands out due to its high adaptability to stressful growing conditions.

Key Advantages

• Technical Efficiency: The hybrid forms dense, snow-white heads weighing 1.0–1.5 kg. Excellent leaf wrapper ability protects the curds from sunburn, which is critical for maintaining market quality.
• Phytosanitary Reliability: Genetic resistance to fusarium and downy mildew (peronospora) helps reduce the number of fungicide applications, effectively lowering production costs.
• Versatility: 'Goodman' is equally in demand for the fresh market due to its attractive presentation and in the processing industry due to its high yield of quality raw material.

If your strategy is to achieve a stable harvest with predictable results, 'Goodman' serves as a reliable foundation. It is forgiving of minor agronomic errors, yet reaches its full potential when managed with proper irrigation and timely mineral fertilization.
