Description Tsezar
Daikon «Cesar» is a mid-season variety with a growth period of about 70 days from germination to technical maturity. The root vegetables are cylindrical, 35–40 cm long and weighing 0.6–1.0 kg, partially buried in the soil for one-third to one-and-a-half times their length, which facilitates their pulling. The flesh is white, juicy, without the sharp taste of radish, while retaining a pleasant sweet aftertaste.

The variety is characterized by resistance to bacterial soft rot and good storability: it can be stored for up to 20 days in a fresh state. It is recommended to grow it both in open ground and protected ground. Sowing is conducted twice – at the end of April or in the second half of July, with a plant spacing of 8–10 cm and row spacing of 20 cm.

Daikon has high nutritional value: it is rich in potassium, calcium, fiber, pectin substances, vitamin C, and enzymes. Thanks to these properties, the product is considered beneficial for digestion and maintaining the health of the liver and kidneys. The yield of the variety is 3.2–5.0 kg/m², making it attractive for both home growing and small commercial plantations.
