BTS 5735 sugar beet is a modern, high-yielding hybrid developed for maximum yield and high sugar content. This variety is well adapted to various climatic conditions and soil types, making it suitable for cultivation in different regions. BTS 5735 has a moderate level of resistance to major diseases such as cercosporosis, aphanomyces, fusarium, and powdery mildew, contributing to stable yields and reduced losses.

The crop is warm-loving and heat-tolerant, with an optimal temperature for growth and development of 20-22°C; however, photosynthesis remains effective even at temperatures above 40°C. Seeds of BTS 5735 sugar beet have a wide germination temperature range from +4 to 17°C, with emergence time depending on temperature and varying from 10 to 15 days. Due to its well-developed root system capable of absorbing moisture from depths of about 2.5 meters, the plant is drought-tolerant, which is especially important during the intensive root growth period in July-August.
