Cucumber variety Premium is a fast-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid with female flowering, suitable for cultivation both in protected and open ground. The period from germination to the start of fruiting is 43-48 days. Sowing on seedlings is recommended at the end of April, with transplanting into the ground at the 3-4 true leaf stage in late May – early June. Optimal planting scheme – 50x50 cm. The green fruits are 9-11 cm long, weigh 80-100 g, have a bumpy surface with white spines, and are not bitter. The fruiting of this variety is bunch-type: 2-4 flower buds form in the leaf axils on the main stem, and up to 8 on lateral stems. From one plant, you can harvest about one bucket of crisp, juicy fruits per season. Cucumbers are versatile in use – they can be eaten fresh or used for pickling and marinating. The hybrid shows high resistance to root rot, true and false powdery mildew, ensuring a stable yield and reducing the need for treatments. The nutritional properties of Premium cucumbers make them beneficial and low-calorie: 15 kcal, 0.8 g protein, 0 g fat, and 2.8 g carbohydrates per 100 g. The variety belongs to the highest quality class and is characterized by good taste quality. For storage, a temperature of 2-16 degrees Celsius is recommended, at which the fruits retain freshness for up to 10 days.
