VOLOKSKY

Cucumber Volgsky is a fast-maturing, high-yielding parthenocarpic hybrid of indeterminate growth type. From germination to the start of fruiting, it takes only 35-37 days, allowing for a quick harvest. The plant is medium-height with good foliage and moderate branching, featuring a female flower type with cluster formation of 3-4 or more fruits per node. This characteristic promotes intensive fruiting both in greenhouse and open ground conditions. The fruits of Volgsky cucumber are cylindrical, 10-13 cm long, and approximately 3.6-3.8 cm in diameter. The zucchini have a dark green color with white stripes and are covered with medium-sized bumps and moderately dense white spines. The fruits have excellent taste, free of bitterness, making them suitable for fresh consumption and pickling. High taste quality and absence of bitterness are key advantages of this hybrid. Hybrid Volgsky exhibits group resistance to major diseases such as powdery mildew and VOM-1, allowing cultivation without chemical treatments, especially in autumn cycles of glass greenhouses. Yield is approximately 15 kg per square meter in spring plastic greenhouses and up to 25 kg per square meter in winter glass greenhouses. Due to its resistance and high productivity, cucumber Volgsky is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions and technologies.
