Cucumber DEDOK

DEDOK — mid-early parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid with female flowering type, maturing in 50-52 days after planting. Medium-height plant, forming 2-4 fruits per node, dark green, ribbed fruits with white spines. Genetically free of bitterness, ensuring excellent taste. Total yield may reach up to 19 kg per square meter, with early harvest around 9 kg per square meter. This variety is recommended for greenhouse cultivation, where it tolerates high summer temperatures well, and is also suitable for open ground under certain conditions. DEDOK exhibits high resistance to common cucumber diseases such as olive spot, root rot, and powdery mildew, significantly simplifying care and increasing yield stability. For quality seedlings, sowing can begin in April, and transplanting to open ground is recommended when air temperature reaches 25-30 degrees. Optimal planting scheme is 50x50 cm, and transplanting under temporary cover should occur at the 2-3 true leaf stage. In greenhouse conditions, it is important to maintain moderate watering, optimal thermal regime and humidity, as well as regular ventilation. The DEDOK hybrid is versatile in use: its fruits are suitable for fresh consumption as well as for pickling. Due to the absence of bitterness and good taste, cucumbers of this variety are popular among consumers. Early maturity and high yield make this hybrid an excellent choice for those seeking quality cucumber harvests in short periods, especially in greenhouses and polytunnels.
