Description Scorpion
Cucumber Scorpion — this is an early-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid with female flowering, intended for cultivation on dacha plots and in commercial vegetable farming. The period from sowing to harvest is 38-40 days, enabling the quick harvest of fresh green cucumbers. The plant is indeterminate, medium-height, with cluster formation of fruits: 2 to 5 fruits form at each node. Green cucumbers have a cylindrical shape, length 8-10 cm, a bumpy surface with white hairs and dark green coloration. Fruit weight ranges from 70 to 95 grams. The hybrid is genetically free of bitterness, making it especially attractive for fresh consumption, as well as for pickling and canning. Scorpion exhibits high resistance to major cucumber diseases, such as cucumber mosaic virus (CMV), powdery mildew (PM), and false powdery mildew (FPM). This ensures a stable market yield, reaching 236-398 centners per hectare, with a marketable product output of up to 98%. Due to these characteristics, this variety is popular among gardeners and farmers focused on obtaining high-quality, ecologically clean produce. The Scorpion hybrid is suitable for various uses: its green cucumbers are excellent for fresh consumption, as well as for pickling and canning. Due to its parthenocarpic flowering type, cucumbers do not require bee pollination, simplifying care and increasing yield stability. This combination of characteristics makes the Scorpion cucumber a universal choice for cultivation under various climatic conditions and on different soil types.
