Adventurer

Cucumber Adventurer — an early-maturing, self-pollinating hybrid from German breeding, suitable for cultivation both in open and protected soil. This parthenocarpic variety is characterized by high resistance to diseases, including cucumber mosaic virus and powdery mildew, as well as its ability to regenerate quickly. The plant is vigorous and climbing, capable of forming clusters of 2–4 cucumbers per node, significantly increasing yield and harvest convenience.

The fruits of the Adventurer variety have a cornichon type, measuring 7–10 cm in length and weighing 20–30 g. They are cylindrical, dark green in color, with a medium-bumpy surface and white spines. The cucumbers are firm, juicy, aromatic, and non-bitter, making them ideal for fresh consumption, pickling, and preservation. All fruits are uniform and have excellent market appearance, which is especially important for commercial cultivation.

For successful cultivation, seeds are sown at a soil temperature of 13–15°C, and seedlings are transplanted after the threat of frost has passed. The recommended planting density is 3–4 plants per 1 m².
