Cucumber Vigora F1 is an early hybrid of cornichon type, intended for cultivation in open ground. This variety is characterized by a short maturation period — from germination to the start of fruiting takes approximately 37–46 days. The plant is strong-growing, robust, and compact, with good leafiness. The fruits are spindle-shaped or cylindrical, 6–8 cm long and weighing 70–90 grams, with attractive green coloration and small bumps. Genetically free of bitterness, the fruits offer excellent taste qualities both fresh and for pickling or marinating. Vigora F1 hybrid is distinguished by high yield and prolonged fruiting period. Each node of the plant develops 2–3 fruits, contributing to significant harvest — up to 5–6 kg per square meter in the first month, with total yield reaching 10–12 kg/m². Recommended planting scheme is 70x30 cm, and cultivation is possible both in rows and with support. High marketability and good transportability of the fruits make this variety attractive for commercial cultivation and sale. Vigora F1 exhibits resistance to a number of diseases, including false powdery mildew, cladosporiosis, downy mildew, powdery mildew, as well as to cucumber mosaic virus and stress conditions during cultivation. This makes the hybrid a reliable choice for various climatic conditions and reduces the need for intensive plant protection. Due to its qualities and versatility, cucumber Vigora F1 is suitable for fresh consumption, preparation of lightly salted cucumbers, and pickling.
