Cucumber variety ASSOL is an early-maturing, high-yielding table variety with a upright, semi-spreading bush. Fruits have oval or elongated-oval shape, even and smooth, with light skin and surface eyes. The flesh is creamy, giving the fruits an attractive appearance and pleasant taste. The variety is resistant to phytophthora and nematodes, ensuring a stable and good yield even under unfavorable growing conditions. Yield in the first year reaches up to 742 grams per plant.
For cultivation, seeds of the ASSOL variety are recommended to be soaked in water and subjected to hardening with variable temperatures before transplanting to seedlings. Transplanting into open ground is done around the third decade of May, after frost has ended, following a planting scheme of 60x20 cm. Harvesting occurs at the end of August to the beginning of September. Seeds have high germination and viability, lasting until 2025, and meet European quality standards.
ASSOL variety is suitable for obtaining high-quality table products, exhibits good transportability and long-term preservation of fruit appearance. Due to its characteristics and disease resistance, it is an excellent choice for cultivation both in open ground and under variable climate conditions, ensuring a stable and abundant yield.
