Cucumber Elegant

Cucumber variety Elegance is an early and mid-season variety with a vegetation period of about 44-60 days, allowing harvest within relatively short time. The plant is medium-vined, female-flowering type, with one to three female flowers per node. Leaves are medium-sized, green, and fruits are cylindrical, smooth or slightly warty, with sparse white hairs. The fruits have an average length of about 12 cm and weight ranging from 140 to 262 grams, making them suitable for salad and pickling purposes. The variety is characterized by high resistance to adverse weather conditions, cold tolerance, as well as resistance to diseases such as cladosporiosis and powdery mildew. Elegance is a good pollinator and suitable for cultivation in open ground, although the plant requires warmth for optimal growth. The commercial yield reaches 18.6-24.7 kg per square meter, with a commercial product output of 97-98%, meeting the standards of high-quality hybrids. Elegance is intended for universal use, including salad and pickling applications. Due to its excellent taste and high yield, this variety is popular among gardeners. It is recommended for winter-spring crop rotation on soils in regions with suitable climatic conditions, ensuring optimal temperature for sowing and growth.
