POKLONNIK

Cucumber variety POKLONNIK is an early-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid characterized by high yield and excellent taste qualities. The plant is indeterminate, medium-height, with moderate growth vigor and weak branching, featuring large green leaves and exclusively female flowering. Cucumbers are short, cylindrical, with large bumps and medium-density white hairs, green in color with long light-green stripes and moderate mottling. Fruit mass varies from 60 to 105 grams, length is approximately 8-9 cm. Fruit set occurs on day 45-48 after planting.

Variety POKLONNIK is resistant to major cucumber diseases, including cucumber mosaic virus (CMV), powdery mildew (PM), and root rots, ensuring stable yields and reducing the need for treatments. Genetic resistance to bitterness accumulation guarantees a pleasant "cucumber" flavor. Cucumbers retain market appearance for up to 9-10 days, making them convenient for storage and transportation.

This variety is versatile in use: it is excellent for fresh consumption, as well as for pickling and marinating. Due to its parthenocarpic flowering type, cucumbers do not require pollination, simplifying cultivation under various conditions, including plastic greenhouses and open ground. It is recommended to plant after perennial weeds, winter cereals, vegetables, and berries, which promotes good plant development and high yields.
