RUSSIAN CRYSTAL

The cucumber Russian Crystal is a medium-maturing, bee-pollinated hybrid of the cornichon type, developed by Ukrainian breeders. The plant is tall, reaching up to 180 cm in height, making it suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under temporary cover. The fruits are oval-cylindrical with a blunt end, measuring 9–14 cm in length and weighing about 80 grams. The skin is covered with small bumps and light stripes, while the flesh has a crisp, juicy texture without bitterness, making the cucumbers especially tasty and aromatic. The ripening period for Russian Crystal is approximately 42–50 days from germination to the start of fruiting, classifying it as a mid-early hybrid.
