ONIX

The ONIX cucumber is an early-maturing, bee-pollinated hybrid intended for cultivation in open ground, plastic greenhouses, and under temporary coverings. The period from germination to the start of fruiting is 40-45 days, allowing for a quick harvest. The plant is medium-height with weak branching, predominantly bearing female flowers, with 2-3 flowers per node. Leaves are medium-sized, dark green, indicating good plant development and resistance to adverse conditions.

The ONIX cucumber fruits are cylindrical, 8-12 cm long, dark green with a finely ribbed surface and medium-density white pubescence. The fruits have a weak waxy coating and weigh 50-70 grams with a diameter of 3.5-4.0 cm. Due to their excellent flavor, these cucumbers are suitable for fresh consumption as well as for pickling and preservation. High commercial yield reaches 12.3 kg per square meter, making this variety attractive for commercial cultivation.

The ONIX hybrid demonstrates resistance to diseases such as powdery mildew, downy mildew, and cladosporiosis, as well as to cucumber mosaic virus (CMV).
