ODETTE

Cucumber Odette — this is a medium-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid, intended for cultivation in protected ground, including early-season plastic unheated greenhouses, as well as in open ground and on balconies. The plant is powerful and open-type, which facilitates harvesting, and with adequate nutrition, forms 2–3, sometimes up to 5–7 fruits per node. The onset of harvestable ripeness occurs approximately on the 55th day after germination, allowing for an early and stable harvest.

The fruits of cucumber Odette have a uniform cylindrical shape, 10–12 cm long, dark green color, and a bumpy surface. They are distinguished by their attractive appearance and excellent taste, completely free from bitterness. The zucchini retain their elegant appearance, remain firm and crunchy even after thermal processing, making them ideal for pickling and canning.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major cucumber diseases, such as cladosporeiosis, common cucumber mosaic, and true powdery mildew. Thanks to these qualities and its versatility in cultivation, cucumber Odette is suitable for spring-summer turnover in all types of protected ground structures, as well as for cultivation in open ground and on home windowsills.
