LIZA

Liza is an early-maturing parthenocarpic cucumber variety intended for cultivation in universal soil. Fruit production begins as early as the 35–40th day after germination, allowing for a quick harvest. Seeds are sown in the soil after the threat of frost has passed, at a depth of 2–3 cm, and seedlings emerge within 20–30 days. The plants are medium-vined, which simplifies care and harvesting.

Cucumbers of the Liza variety have a bright green color, firm and crisp texture, and a large-warty surface. The fruits are oval-cylindrical in shape, measuring 7–9 cm in length and 80–100 g in weight, with a length-to-diameter ratio of 3.1:1. They are free of bitterness, making their taste especially pleasant both fresh and for preservation. The variety is characterized by high yield: up to 15 kg per square meter in open ground and up to 30 kg in greenhouses.

Liza exhibits high resistance to major cucumber diseases such as true and false powdery mildew, cucumber mosaic virus, and olive spot. For successful cultivation, it is recommended to use medium-loamy, well-aerated soils, along with timely watering, weeding, loosening, and mineral fertilization. Thanks to these characteristics, the Liza variety is an excellent choice for obtaining high-quality and abundant cucumber yields.
