Cucumber Artist F1

Cucumber Artist F1 is an early, self-pollinating, high-yielding hybrid of the cornichon type, developed by the Dutch seed company Bejo Zaden. This hybrid is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic or glass greenhouses. The plant features a strong structure and well-developed root system, ensuring the formation of 6-8 uniform, large-seeded fruits per node. The fruits have a dark green color, do not yellow upon ripening, and possess a small seed cavity, without bitterness. The average fruit weight is 80-100 grams, with an optimal length-to-diameter ratio of 3.3:1. The Artist F1 hybrid exhibits high resistance to diseases such as olive spot and powdery mildew, and tolerates low-light conditions, making it ideal for winter-spring cultivation. The plant quickly recovers from extreme stress factors, such as water deficiency and high ambient temperature, contributing to stable fruiting throughout the season. When grown on supports, lateral shoots do not form, simplifying plant care. Cucumber Artist F1 is versatile in use: its fruits are suitable for pickling, marinating, canning, and fresh consumption. Its high flavor quality and lack of bitterness make this hybrid attractive for both commercial cultivation and home gardens. The yield of cornichons reaches 20-25 kg per square meter, confirming the efficiency and reliability of this variety.
